Rubén Peretó Rivas is Professor of Medieval Philosophy at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (Mendoza, Argentina). He completed his doctorate at the Pontificia Università S. Tommaso, Angelicum, in Rome, on Alcuin of York. Rubén Peretó Rivas has devoted himself to the study of the philosophy and theology of Early Christianity, focusing in recent years on Evagrius Ponticus, on whom he has written, among other titles: “Evagrio Póntico y la Acedia" (Peter Lang, New York, 2018), and “Tratado de las réplicas" (Rialp, Madrid, 2021). He is visiting scholar at the University of Oxford and the University of Notre Dame (Indiana).
